We are excited to announce that INWES will be represented at the Conference of Parties COP28 UN Climate Change Conference November/December 2023 by Prof Wai-Yie Leong, Vice President for External Relations 2020-23. INWES has partnered with WiRE (Women in Renewable Energy) to run an exciting interactive side event at #COP28.
The Roundtable will be an interactive event where we will be aiming to:
- Exchange best practices: share innovative solutions for creating inclusive workplaces and overcoming challenges across geographies and sectors
- Identify gaps and needs: identify areas where more work is needed and where to focus to develop solutions
- Expand the WiRE Energize Equity survey reach: gather more diverse insights (across geographies and demographics)
- Share the learnings from the INWES GISE projects: increase awareness for future studies
- Foster cooperation: create opportunities for networking and future collaboration amongst participants
