The International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES) is our international flagship event and has been held since 1964.

ICWES18 @ Warwick University, now September 2021

Due to COViD-19, the Local Organising Committee, in consultation with the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES), has decided to postpone ICWES18 from September 2020 to 1-3 September 2021.

ICWES18 will be hosted by INWES members Warwick University, in the United Kingdom. The theme of this ICWES is Global Humanitarian Challenges. Go to the dedicated Warwick University ICWES18 website for all details and to register interest. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN.

Past ICWES events

In 2017, the 17th edition (ICWES17) was held on 5-7 October 2017 in New Delhi, India and hosted by WISE-India. Nearly 300 participants from a wide spectrum audience took part. Attendees included planners and policy-makers, gender issue experts, industry partners, researchers, students and supporters coming from 18 countries, covering four continents of the world. During ICWES, participants can enjoy lively seminars, workshops and panel discussions.
