Nous, membres du Conseil d’administration d’INWES, sommes attristés et terriblement peinés d’apprendre le décès de Fatoumata Baldé, directrice d’INWES et membre du réseau régional d’Afrique ARN. C’est une femme rayonnante, engagée et très appréciée par tous. Elle va beaucoup nous manquer et nous prions pour que son âme repose en paix.
Nous, membres du Conseil d’administration d’INWES, présentons nos sincères condoléances au trois soeurs de Fatoumata, Rouguy, Khadidiatou et Dieynaba ainsi qu’à toute sa famille et à son mari qui est actuellement hospitalier et à qui nous transmettons nos meilleurs voeux de rétablissement.
Perdre un être cher est très difficile et il n’y a que le temps qui pourra aider la famille et les proches de faire le deuil complètement.
La vie est très fragile, prenons-en bien soin.
Merci Fatoumata pour tout ce que tu as contribué à la promotion et à l’émancipation des femmes et des filles en sciences et en génie, au Sénégal et partout dans le monde.
Repose en paix, Allah veille sur toi. Amen.

We, members of the INWES Board of Directors, are saddened and terribly shocked to learn of the death of Fatoumata Baldé, Director of INWES and member of the Africa regional network (ARN). She was a radiant, engaged woman and much appreciated by all. She will be dearly missed and we pray that her soul rests in peace.
We, members of the INWES Board of Directors, offer our sincere condolences to the three sisters of Fatoumata, Rouguy, Khadidiatou and Dieynaba as well as to all her family and to her husband who is currently hospitalized and to whom we address our best wishes for the recovery.
Losing a loved one is very difficult, and only time can help family and friends overcome the sadness completely.
Life is very fragile, let’s take good care of it.
Thank you Fatoumata for everything you have contributed to the promotion and empowerment of women and girls in science and engineering, in Senegal and around the world.
