INWES partnered with NMITE to host a vibrant Unconference in the UK, where participants from across Europe—and INWES Board members representing several Asian countries and Canada—came together to elevate the voices of young women in engineering. Alongside the event, the INWES Board meeting also welcomed online participation from African member countries, reinforcing the organisation’s global commitment to gender equity in STEM. The conversations surfaced shared challenges and three strategic themes that will shape our future work: leadership development, confidence through community, and stronger institutional action. This gathering marks an important step in strengthening our worldwide network and empowering the next generation.
