Report: INWES-APNN 2024 Conference – Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges

The International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists – Asia-Pacific Nations Network (INWES-APNN) 2024 Conference, held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from October 4th to 5th, was a significant event that brought together women leaders in STEM from across the region. The conference theme, “The Role of Women in Science & Technology and International Integration for Sustainable Development,” provided a powerful platform for discussing the critical contributions of women to innovation and progress. The event was very successful with over 300 participants from 12 countries (including 60 from abroad).

Through the platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, the conference helped to strengthen the global network of women in STEM and advance the cause of gender equality and sustainable development. The event demonstrated the immense potential of women to drive innovation and progress, inspiring attendees to continue their work towards creating a more equitable and sustainable future. 

In summary, the INWES-APNN 2024 conference was a pivotal gathering that showcased the leadership, expertise, and potential of women in STEM. The conference fostered collaboration, promoted gender equality, and highlighted the critical role of women in driving sustainable development.
