Empowering Girls Through Menstrual Hygiene Awareness

Empowering girls: the Laissez-Passer winning project continues in Ghana

We are pleased to report that on June 29th, the second round of the “Empowering Girls Through Menstrual Hygiene Awareness” project was held in Ghana!

This second part saw the attendance of different trainers, such as Nelly Sakyi-Hagan, the Laissez-Passer 2023 winner, and staff from the University of Education Winneba. They visited seven schools in the Effutu Municipality.

Thanks to their workshops, more than 350 girls received free menstrual products and education on menstrual hygiene and sexual reproductive health.

The workshops were a success, and they are proud to support initiatives like this that have a real impact on improving lives!
