Eligibility
An organisation interested in supporting the purpose and the goal of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists is eligible for Organisational Membership in the Network upon:
- Providing information on policies, and/or programs that have similar goals as INWES,
- Payment of annual dues, and
- Identification of representatives.
Benefits to Members
- Special access to INWES website for members only,
- Opportunities to participate in regional and international INWES activities,
- Listing in the online INWES Membership Directory,
- All general INWES mailings, e-mail bulletins, triennial conference announcements, and information sharing,
- Information and strategies for recruitment, retention and career development,
- Link on INWES website,
- Listing in the INWES Annual Report,
- Access to experts on gender issues on a consultancy basis, and
- Opportunity to nominate Organisational Members and to be selected as a Board Director.
Fees
Payment of the annual Membership dues entitles your Organisation to become a Member of INWES and to select representatives who can participate in INWES activities.
Level 1:
- Organisations with 20-50 members.
- Allows one vote.
- Annual Dues: $100 (US) ($33 (US) for organisations from developing countries and countries in transition).
Level 2:
- Organisations with 51-500 members.
- Allows two votes.
- Annual Dues: $250 (US) ($83 (US) for organisations from developing countries and countries in transition).
Level 3:
- Organisations with 500+ members.
- Allows three votes.
- Annual Dues: $400 (US) ($133 (US) for organisations from developing countries and countries in transition).
Level 4:
- Organisations with 5000+ members.
- Allows four votes.
- Annual Dues: $1000 (US) ($333 (US) for organisations from developing countries and countries in transition).
The representatives can be nominated for election to the Board of Directors of INWES. A number of Director positions are specifically reserved for Organisational Members. Organisational Directors will be involved in establishing the policies and strategic direction of the Network. Other representatives who are not Directors will be encouraged to participate in Network committee activities, and take advantage of the opportunities provided for networking and international programs.
