INWES encourages businesses and corporates to consider supporting INWES activities through sponsorship and donations.

Please enquire by email info@www.inwes.org regarding donations or the potential for new activities and projects. We welcome suggestions and opportunities for partnerships.

INWES will also encourage companies and corporates to consider support a network of employees to join INWES as members. For more information pleae enquire by emailing membership@www.inwes.org

Sponsorship Opportunities

Below are suggested sponsorship levels. (Amounts are given in US dollars)


Bronze

$500 to $2,499

  • Sponsor name is included in newsletter, on INWES web site, and in Annual report and,
  • Will receive all general INWES mailings, e-mail bulletins, triennial conference announcements, and information sharing.

Silver

$2,500 to $4,999

  • Same as Bronze, and
  • Logo and name on web site, newsletter, plus a quarter page profile or individual representing the corporation in newsletter or website.

Gold

$5,000 to $9,999

  • Same as Silver except a half-page profile or individual representing the corporation in newsletter or website,
  • Profile at ICWES conferences,
  • Corporation name and logo will be listed on the conference web site and will appear in different media during the conference (such as program and proceedings, banner or board in the conference area),
  • Corporation will receive complimentary invitations for INWES events (such as banquets at ICWES conferences).

Platinum

$10,000 or higher

  • Same as Gold except full-page profile or individual representing the corporation in newsletter or website,
  • Profile at ICWES conferences,
  • Corporation name and logo will be listed on the conference web site and will appear in different media during the conference (such as the banquet menu, program and proceedings, banner or board in the conference area),
  • Conference exhibition fee for a booth will be waived,
  • Corporation will receive complimentary invitations for INWES events (such as banquets at ICWES conferences),
  • Corporation will be mentioned in all promotional press releases, media information and other opportunities.

Proposed programs, current and future

Priorities:

  1. Develop the web portal, a “front-end” to the wealth of authoritative sites on the web, global in scope and in three languages (English, French and Spanish) with some pages in additional languages,
  2. Gather and collate data on the status of the participation of women in STEM to support sharing good practice,
  3. Develop a special youth outreach activity at ICWES
  4. Develop a manual on how to start-up an association of (for) women in STEM in a region or in a country,
  5. Add professional / student development program at conferences,
  6. Develop ICWES conferences electronic archives,
  7. Organise regional workshops for each Regional Network.

Projects:

  1. Launch competitions in each INWES regions for girls on why they want to be a scientist or an engineer,
  2. Establish a scholarship program for students presenting papers at INWES Conferences,
  3. Establish a ‘sister association program’ where associations create links by mutual choice to work on collaborative programs,
  4. Extend mentoring and returner programs across countries,
  5. Develop outreach activities (mentoring manual, internship project, career choice workshop, high-school contest/maths contest…

INWES members and volunteers are developing new programs and ideas to support the INWES mission. We welcome ideas from potential sponsors.
